More Pics...

I'm not very good at updating this daily, or even weekly. I'm much better at just posting a bunch of pics and then writing a little blurb about each one. So, here are some current pics for all of our blog readers to enjoy!
Oh yeah, a big event that is going on in our lives right now is that Micah is potty training. We started last Wednesday and he is doing great! He wears "Big boy pants" now unless we go out. In that case, he wears pull-ups. He has been really good about telling us when he needs to go. At home, he just runs into the bathroom and sits on his potty chair. He has a potty chart and he gets really excited each time he gets to put a sticker on it.
Anyway, here are the pics I promised...

One day, I was doing some dishes when
I heard Abby wake up. I opened her door and she was playing with her mirror, so I decided to finish the dishes. A few minutes later, I heard Micah in there, so I went in to check on them. There he was, holding up a book and reading to Abby. She was smiling and looking at him like he was the coolest person on earth. At that moment, I think he was, in her eyes. It was so cute, I just stood there and watched. When Micah got to the end of the book, he closed it and said, "The end."

Here is Micah making some pancakes. He loves to help me make breakfast in the morning. His favorite morning meals are "baby pancakes" and hash browns and eggs.

How cute is this?

I just love this pic of Abby. She's so sweet and always smiling. She's rolling over now and trying to sit up. She'll be 6-months old tomorrow.

Could she be any cuter?

We used this picture in Micah's birthday party invitations.

I like this picture because it shows Micah's sweet side.

This one shows his cool side.

I was trying to get a good picture of the adorable headband Abby is wearing. It has a big black flower on it. I love dressing her up and people ask me all the time where I get her bows. It's not a very good pic of the actual bow though. It focuses more on the drool all over her shirt.
I know I'm biased, but when I see all these pics, I can't help but beem inside. I'm definitely a proud mom, but hey, look at what I have to be proud of. :)

Easter

Today is Easter. Here are some pics of Micah and Abby in their new Easter clothes.

You can't see it in this picture, but Micah has the cutest tie on. It's light blue and has little whales on it. I saw it at the Children's Place awhile ago and didn't get it. I wished I would have though, so I went back and they had one left, so I got it to go with Micah's Easter sweater (which I had also got at the Children's Place).
You also can't really see the detail on Abby's sandals. They had little flowers embroidered on them. They are the cutest things. She doesn't like wearing them though. She kept kicking them off. :)

Here is Abby's Easter haul. Abby wasn't awake when Micah discovered his Easter basket this morning. When she did wake up though, Micah led us into the living room and picked up her basket and started showing her the things inside it. It was so cute.
In the upper righthand corner of the picture, you can see daddy's Easter basket. It only consisted of a package of Cadbury Eggs. I hope he didn't feel ripped off. :)

Here is Micah's haul. One of the eggs in the basket was a cool thing that you put in water and it turns into a towel. It old Micah that we needed to put it in the bath tub and it would turn into a big towel that he could use for swimming. Well, turns out that it wasn't so neat afterall. It's acutally only the size of a hand towel. When we took it out of the tub, Micah said, "Oh darn! It's not big."

On Saturday, we went to Saratoga Springs and had an Easter Egg Hunt and BBQ with Cory, Danae, and Zoey. It was a lot of fun and both Micah and Zoey found tons of eggs. In this picture, Micah is especially excited because aunt Danae got him a "Bee Movie" Pez dispenser. Micah got the "Bee Movie" earlier in the week as an early Easter present from Grandma and Grandpa and he is obsessed with all things "Bee Movie".

For Julie...

Our good friend, Julie moved to Arizona and we don't get to see her very often. I told her about our blog today, so I made sure that there were plenty of current pics for her to see. We love you, Julie and hope to see you and your wonderful family very soon. :)

Here is Micah on his new bike. This is a very cool toy. It's not a bike that you can ride outside. It's actually a stationary bike that you can not only exercise on, but it connects to the tv and you can play educational games. You control the games by peddling and steering the bike. It's very cool and Micah loves it.
Here is Abby. I like this picture because it really focuses on her big, blue eyes. She has her daddy's eyes, which I have always thought were beautiful. I think Abby looks just like Heath. Let's hope she keeps his good looks. :)

Here and Heath and Micah in the bathtub. I thought this was such a cute pic, I had to include it on our blog.

About a month ago, we visited Gammy and Popi's house in Rexburg, Idaho. There was so much snow. Heath took Micah out to play in it one day. I stayed inside where it was warm, but I was able to watch them play and I could take pictures from the house.

Micah always makes a slide, no matter where or what he is playing. In this pic, he made a path in the snow and then managed to slide down it.

These pajamas have the name, Charile embroidered on them. When Micah wears them, we call him, "Charlie". He doesn't like it though and emphatically responds, "No, I'm Cah cah!" Those of you that know Micah well, know that he refers to himself as "Cah cah". Trust me, we're working on that. :)

This past weekend, I hosted a little get-together with some friends from high school. Heath took Micah and went to Rexburg so Abby and I could hang out with the girls. While in Rexburg, Gammy made a photo journal with Micah. It showed what Micah had done and the places he visited while he was away for the weekend. It was so sweet because Gammy knew that I would miss Micah, so she made the photo journal for Micah to give to me. Of course, I cried when I looked at it. In one of the pics in the photo journal, Gammy and Micah were in "Porter's" ( local craft store in Rexburg). They found an Easter project that looked fun, so Gammy bought it for Micah to take home. We put it together yesterday. It's an adorable bunny house. Micah loves it so much, he put it on his dresser and runs into his room several times a day to look at it. Here is a pic of Micah with the finished project.
