So Much...

Wow! I didn't realize that I had not posted since early October. Sorry about that. Here are some pics to make up for it. :)

Here are my three favorite people ready for trick-or-treating on Halloween night. Micah was a Miami Dolphins Football Player (you can't see it, but he even had #13 on his back (ode to Dan Marino)), and Abby was a Poodle Skirt Girl. Again, you can't tell, but she did have an actual poodle on her skirt. Her name was also on there.

Micah absolutely loved Halloween. I would dare say it was right up there with Christmas for him. It wasn't just a day, it was an entire week. It started with our ward Halloween Carnival and Trunk-or-Treat on Tuesday night, his preschool party and trick-or-treating at my old office on Thursday, and ended with trick-or-treating at Heath's bank and going out as a family Friday night.

Abby discovered that she loves suckers. As we were trick-or-treating on Friday night, we gave her an orange Tootsie Pop. She sucked that entire thing (even the tootsie roll) right down to the stick.

The week before Halloween, we carved pumpkins for Family night. Here is Abby trying to eat hers.

This is what she looked like after she tried to eat it. She and Micah had painted this one with markers and they rubbed off onto her face.

Here is my pumpkin (it was actually a squash). I'm horrible at carving, so I just drew a little picture. You can't see it, but I drew a family portrait on the back of it.

Here is Micah's pumpkin. He was so proud of it.

Here is Heath's pumpkin. This is actually what he looks like when he wakes up in the morning or when the Dolphins lose. :)

A couple weeks ago, I took the kids to visit my parents in Annabella. My mom and I took them to a pumpkin patch in Elsinore. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen. An older gentleman in town loves kids so much that he grows several acres of pumpkins for them each year. He lets them come out to his farm and pick out whatever pumpkin they want. He also takes them on a train ride and a hay ride out to the actual patch. He drops you off and then waits patiently as you pick your pumpkin. He then loads you up and takes you back to your car. It was so much fun and the kids loved it. I definitely think we will make this trip a tradition.

Micah picked out each an every one of these pumpkins. We got all of these for $1.00

Micah sitting on one of his "huge" pumpkins. He kept running around saying, "Mom, I found a huge one! A huge one!"

Abby didn't seem to love the pumpkins as much as Micah did. Maybe next year?

While we were in Annabella, Grandpa took Micah on his first fishing trip. It was so cute to see them sitting on the bank of the stream together. Grandpa would throw out the line and make sure the fishing lure was placed just right, and then he would hand the pole over to Micah. They didn't catch a fish, but Micah didn't care. Just getting to hold the pole and be with Grandpa was enough for him.

My sister-in-law, Danae and I took our kids to Gardner Village. It was a lot of fun to walk around and see all the witches. Here is Micah posing in front of one of the displays. The witches are really amazing. For anyone who hasn't been, it's definitely a trip worth taking.

When Micah saw this witch "flying" through the air, he said, "Wow! An E.T. witch!" I laughed so hard at that one. One of the things I love most about Micah is that he makes me laugh every day.

Micah's preschool class recently went on a field trip to the Provo Fire Station. This is a picture of him all dressed up in his Fire Captain hat before we left. He was so excited to go. Unfortunately, this is the only picture I have because Abby came with us and I couldn't put her down to take any pictures. Micah had a blast though. At one point, he was standing right next to a real fireman who let him hold his helmet. Micah was pretty excited about it. The real excitement came next though as the fireman put his helmet and oxygen mask on. He turned the oxygen on so the kids could hear him talk with it. Micah's eyes got big and he said, 'Mom! It's Darth Vader!" Still laughing...

Several weeks ago, Micah's preschool class went to Cornbelly's. Micah wasn't feeling very well, but really wanted to go, so we went anyway. You can tell by this pic that he just wasn't feeling himself.
Even though he wasn't feeling well, he still had a great time.

There were tons of fun things for the kids to do. This is one of those big jumping pillows. It was cool because you could jump on it and slide down the sides of it. I'm not sure which Micah liked best.

When we saw this, Micah said, "Is that grandpa's tractor?"

Micah and his cute friends, Noah and Tyler. They are in his preschool class as well as our ward.

The last time I posted, it was Abby's first birthday. Here is a picture of her party. It was lots of fun and she got tons of great toys and cute clothes. This is a ball that uncle Beau gave her. It has Abby Cadabby on it.

Can you believe the mound of presents? Micah scouted them out for quite awhile before we actually started opening them. He was a big help with that. :)
