My dad's cancer treatments are going as well as can be expected. He's been pretty sick though- throwing up, nausea, dehydration, weakness, etc., so the doctor decided to skip his chemo for the next two weeks and just do some i.v. meds to help him feel better. By the time he and my mom left our house on Thursday, I do think he was feeling quite a bit better.
He still has a way to go until he his cancer free, but he is doing a great job and fighting a good fight. We love you dad!
Here is a picture of my dad and Micah taken right after his surgery in February. When my parents are here for my dad's treatments, Micah likes to get up in the morning and hang out with my dad. They read books together and watch cartoons.
This is my dad a couple months ago with Abby. As you can see, his size has drastically decreased. He's lost about 50 lbs. since February. He's actually happy about losing the weight, but it sure is a hard way to do it.

glad to hear he was feeling better. i'm sure that's no fun watching your dad be so sick, but i'm sure it's also great to be able to help out when he gets his treatments. he looks so great in those pictures with your kids. i really love your parents, and your family :)
He is really lucky to have such a supportive daughter! I am glad that he is doing okay!
You have been so good to help them in there time of need. We hope all treatments will cure him indefinately.
I'm glad he is doing as well as can be expected.
Cancer is no fun at all. My family genealogy is riddled with it.
You're doing a great service to him, and I'm sure he appreciates it.
I feel so bad for your dad- that is so hard to go through and he's so sweet. I hope everything works and he feels better. I'm glad they get to stay with you though, that is one good thing!
